Cow Pie Bingo
Official Rules
- Take a large arena designed for showing livestock, and mark it off into a grid 5 x 7 squares.
- Audience participation factor: the audience places $5 bets on particular squares (B5, I14, etc.)
- Bovine participation factor: release a lone cow, fed well, into the area.
- Watch and wait -- Winner takes all.
I should clarify: winner takes all the cash.

Wow. Just... wow...
pure silliness and weirdness.
I'd equate it with our fascination for Bean Hole days (Pequot Lakes) and the eel pout ice festival (Walker). I mean, what's uglier than an eel pout?
I've never thought of this area as rednecky (we prefer to associate that with the "west of the Missouri River cowboy culture". Think more along the lines of ... ummm... intense country fun. And to preserve some dignity -- perhaps the fair board should have posted a statement declaring that the views expressed by the organizers of that event are not necessarily the views held by the good people of Moody County. :-)
I like cow pies. And bingo. Sounds like fun.
maybe there should be like an update or something.
